On October 27, 1962 the city of Thessaloniki celebrated the opening of its new archaeological museum. Now, exactly 60 years later, the Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Θεσσαλονίκης - Archaeological museum of Thessaloniki is marking this important anniversary with an exhibition that highlights 60 emblematic moments in the history of Northern Greece’s oldest and largest archaeological museum.
