Chrysanthi Fotiadou graduated from the School of Visual and Applied Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, having specialized in painting.

She also studied conservation and restoration of antiquities and works of art at the Technological and Educational Institute of Athens.

She has participated in various European Union actions for the protection and safeguarding of cultural heritage (Petra II and Leonardo) having worked at museums and monuments in Germany, Italy and Spain.

In 1996 she attended a program on art education at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, under scholarship from the Technological and Educational Institute of Athens.

From 1992 to 2006, she worked as an antiquities restorer with the 16th Ephorate of antiquities in Thessaloniki. In 2006, she earned her permanent contract with the Greek Ministry of Culture after having successfully participated in a national recruitment competition.

As a visual artist, she has designed and realized a series of cultural events for the educational programs in museums belonging to the Greek Ministry of Culture.
