The exhibition was a collaboration with the French School and the 18th Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities of Kavala. It presented the multifaceted work conducted by the School for a hundred years on the island of Thassos, as well as the contribution of the Ephorate of Antiquities. Apart from the rich accompanying material that highlights the most important aspects of research on the island, archival documents are also displayed, from the Historical Archive of the French School at Athens and the Archaeological Service, signifying the first steps of archaeological research on the island of Thassos. Following its completion, the exhibition travelled to other museums and institutions in Greece and France.
