The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, as part of its communication and education policy, has been organising a series of educational programmes for many years, aimed towards pupils and students of all ages.

The Museum aims not merely to highlight the artworks of antiquity and the modern era, but also to appeal to a variety of target groups. Its educational actions reinforce the belief that the museum is not just a storeroom for ancient artefacts but a living organism where anybody can learn, discover and have fun.
