The Alpha Bank coin collection is one of the best in the world (10,000 coins), especially concerning Macedonian mints (2,500 coins).

A selection of 270 coins from the collection displays a complete series of silver mints of Macedonian kings, silver mints of archaic and classical colonies in Macedonia as well as Hellenistic, Roman and later copies of Macedonian coinage. The coins were selected according to rarity and preservation. The exhibition was accompanied by a catalogue, a leaflet and an educational programme.
