Inspired by the "POL(i)ES" i.e. cities, which is the theme of the European Heritage Days for the biennium 2017-2018, the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki organizes two actions titled "Active sites: the museum "interprets" the city".

• Temporary exhibition of the project "A-POL(i)ES" by artist Anne Kaltsidou. The exhibition will be inaugurated on 09.22.2017, but you will be visitable by 12.09.2017, and will last until 29.10.2017.
• Theatrical performance in three acts related to respective exhibits of the Museum. The event is a synthesis of various texts (literary, scientific, service, journalists) and will be presented at the Museum areas in collaboration with the National Theater of Northern Greece, on September 22 and 23, 2017. The performance will be repeated one week later.

During the weekend of the European Heritage Days admission to museums and archaeological sites will be free.
