The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki hosts the third and final performance by Anna Pangalou, which interacts with the exhibition "The River/Voicing Water" by Christina Nakou and Anna Pangalou, as part of the "All of Greece One Culture 2024" program. The exhibition was organised in collaboration with the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki.
The performance will begin in the morning at an unspecified location within the museum and will continue, with intermittent pauses, throughout the museum's opening hours. During the performance, songs, texts, melodies, and recordings will be heard in unexpected spots within the Museum and its outdoor exhibits -like fragments of a sound mosaic that completes the dialogue with Christina Nakou's work "The River" (hosted in hall C) and the themes it raises. Additionally, the performance engages with the archaeological exhibits, particularly those related to water, as well as with the history of Thessaloniki, inviting visitors on a walking exploration of the Museum.
No reservation is required to attend the performance.
