The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki co-organises storytelling performances about the myths, life, and adventures of the god Dionysus, the god of nature's rebirth, wine, and joy. By tracing his paths, we will discover the gifts he bestowed upon humanity: self-love, acceptance of others, and embracing diversity. The storyteller Rodanthi Dimitresi (founder of Action Art/ Visual Arts Nonprofit Civil Partnership) will unfold the narrative thread accompanied by the songs and vocal improvisations of musician Youla Michael.

These performances are presented by the nonprofit Action Art in collaboration with the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, as part of the Intercultural Storytelling Festival of Thessaloniki "Fairytale Days," the funded programme by the Ministry of Culture "The Bridges That Unite Us," and the European Heritage Days 2024 with the theme "Heritage of Routes, Networks, and Connections".

The event is intended for families with children over 6 years old.
Telephone reservations are required at 2313 310 201 (Mon.-Fri., 8:00 to 14:00).
Selection of participants will be strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
