A large number of bronze vessels from various ancient sites across Macedonia is stored and displayed at the A.M.Th.

This particular research programme aims to determine the composition of the alloys on those bronze artefacts and to study their manufacturing technology. The programme is a collaboration between the Department of Metalworking of the A.M.Th. and the Analytical Chemistry Workshop of the Department of Chemistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
