Alexandra Sofianopoulou studied conservation and restoration of antiquities and works of art at the Technological and Educational Institute of Athens.

She earned her permanent contract with the Greek Ministry of Culture in 2006 after having successfully participated in a national recruitment competition.

Currently she studies at the School of Chemistry of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki
